About the director
Claire grew up in front of a ballet bar at the Paris Conservatory. At the age of 20, she drops off her ballet shoes due to her knees and her stubborn character. After a Master's degree in literature, she worked for 10 years in production, on feature films by Dolan, Pawlikowski, Jia Zhangke, Jan Kounen. At the same time, she wrote and directed COMME ILS RESPIRENT, a documentary on the daily life of dancers, which was released in theaters one year later. In 2019, she joins the Atelier Scénario of Femis under the direction of Jacques Akchoti. She graduated in 2020 and has since worked as a screenwriter on series and feature films, and is developing her projects as a writer-director.
